Elite Run Age Categories & Prize Eligibility

The Nedbank Citi Dash Elite Run is an open-category 10km race for runners aged 12 to 80 years.

For prize and category purposes, runners are automatically allocated to an age category according to their gender and age as at 31 December 2026:

Age categories are automatically assigned based on the runner's registered gender and date of birth. Runners are eligible to compete for prize money only within their assigned gender and age category.

A runner cannot elect to compete in a different age category or claim prize money from another category. The category displayed on the official race results will determine prize eligibility.

Age eligibility is determined as at 31 December 2026.
